Dear brothers and sister, please pray for us. – 1 Thessalonians 5:25.

Do you know that, as a Christian, you have an obligation to pray for your church? Prayers strengthen and establish the church of God and bring back those who are failing away in faith.

Our local church (church leaders and brethren) needs our daily intercession to be guided against the fairy darts of satan in these evil days. Apostle Paul prayed for the early church and that creates a model for us all to follow. Instead of being part of those who, derives pleasure in pulling down and criticizing the church, you can bring about the needed change by praying for the church.

For the church, we should pray for:

  • Salvation for all.
  • Strength for the brethren to continue against all odds.
  • Grace for brethren to remain in faith.
  • For the church to be rooted and grounded in love.
  • The church to overcome problems in the evil days.

Meditate on this: The same strength and time exacted to condemn the church can be channeled to praying for her.
