Go thee thence… I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.      (1 Kings 17:3, 4)

Before we were born into this world, God had already placed everything we need to survive in their right places. He understands our needs and knows all that is best for us.

After killing the prophets of Baal, Elijah fled for the fear of being killed by Queen Jezebel. While on the way, He didn’t know how he could survive. Unknowingly to Elijah, God had already made provisions for his feeding before he will get there. God used the ravens to sustain him, what a gracious God.

In whatsoever situation we find ourselves in, God has already made a way of escape for us. He leads us through orchestrated paths that are beyond our comprehension. Just like Elijah, you might be wondering what will become of you in that situation, as there is no sign of a possible way out. Don’t give up; God will take care of you.

At every point in our lives, God wants us to be obedient to His directions and have faith in Him.

Meditate on this: The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and His ears are open unto their cries.
