For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord.  -Isaiah 55:8

The world is presently passing through the most difficult phase in its history. Economy of the world is crumbling; there are disasters here and there. Uncertainties, political upheavals, untimely deaths, panic, unemployment, incurable diseases – the list is inexhaustible.

In the midst of all these challenges, we might be forced to ask; where is our God? Severally, people have asked me ‘if God truly is loving and caring, how come there is so much suffering in the world and what is the fate of believers? The answer is seen below.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32

God is unchangeable, not even men’s thoughts, assumptions or imaginations can change Him. He is a loving Father and nothing can ever contend with that. God gave us His only Son Jesus that we might be redeemed from eternal death; He is as well loving enough, to deliver us from any impending danger or dreary challenge.

However, God did not promise anyone a life free from temptations; rather, He promised to be with us and give us sufficient grace to overcome all the trials and temptations that might confront our lives. God knows and understand the plights that His children go through. He is not silent to their cries and pleads as some might think. God has everything under control for His own and, He is daily working under the scenes to make sure we are happy at the end.

Daniel was a child of God but, he went through several persecutions that, he was even thrown into the lion’s den. Did his enemies prevail over him? Did the lions destroy him? No, they couldn’t because, God was with him. If God is for us, who can be against us? – Romans 8:31 .The same God that delivered Daniel is still God, He has not changed and He will never change. – Hebrews 13:8

If you are passing through a difficult phase in your life, I want to encourage you not to give up your faith and confidence in God. Though the situation might look bleak and uncertain, still, God will carry you through. Yours is to trust God, leave the ‘HOW’ for Him to handle. One thing is certain, anyone who trust in the Lord, can never be put to shame.

When God seems silent, He is up to something big!
