1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such is common to man; but God is faithful. Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

All men, young and old, rich and poor, privileged and less privileged experiences trials and temptations. It comes through different ways to different people. Temptation is not a sin but, when it overcomes a person, it becomes a sin. Here, temptation is used to represent all forms of challenges people encounter, be it temptation to sin or temptation during difficult times.

Presently, as a result of the times we live in, unimaginable things are happening. The wind of inexplicable challenges is seriously blowing. People are depressed, they’ve lost hope, and situations seem not to be lightening up. It has gotten to the point that, some people are even taking their lives in order to avert more sufferings while many others are diverting to illegal means to make ends meet.

Do you realize that, whatsoever has a beginning equally has an end? When a farmer plants a seed, would he harvest the fruits immediately?  There is always a time to sow your efforts and also, a time that your efforts will yield results – success is not automatic. When you invest, you need to patiently wait for your pay off. Daniel was tempted to falsify figures and Joseph was tempted to commit fornication with his master’s wife but they never yielded. At the end what happened? they were duly promoted because, they overcame the temptations.

One of the many strategies satan uses to confound people is frustrating their efforts and giving them false feeling that, things will never get better- that’s a lie. In your life, things will be better. Never lose sight of a better tomorrow, great things comes to those who believe.

There is nothing happening in the world now that is erupting out of the blues, they are part of the fulfillment of bible prophecies. In all these, God has promised to be with those who truly put their trust in Him and deliver them out of all troubles. Instead of seeking help where there is none, why don’t you come to Jesus for protection and preservation?  Never forget that, one day, we shall all give account of the lives we lived here on earth. Life after here is worth more than silver and gold that will eventually perish.

When you are tempted to compromise for a piece of cake – give it a second thought.  COMPROMISE BRINGS REGRETS.
