A struggle is a forceful or violent effort to get free of restraint or constriction. Where people are struggling to do something, it means they are trying very hard to get it done. People who struggle are caught up with something and combat to be set free. It surfaces in forms of feelings, manipulations, addictions, et.al
In life, there are incessant struggles that confront people. The struggle for survival, struggle against bad habits, struggle against depression, struggle against self, etc. what are you struggling against? Do know that, you are not alone in whatever you are passing through.
The enemy people faces is ultimately not human beings as it always disguises to be. The struggle is against satan, sin and self. Satan uses imaginary enemies as oppositions against people – spouse who is cheating, the co-worker who is difficult to work with, the neigbour who is unfriendly, the business partner who is fraudulent are all being manipulated by the devil to act likewise. Now, instead of recognizing the real enemy, people are busy waging war against innocent persons while the real enemy stays unnoticed.
I have seen several people fight themselves almost to death for no sensible reason. By the time they realize how unnecessary the fight was, the deed has already been done. Then, they will be filled with regrets. All satan does is to manipulate people, set the stage for them and jumps aside.
A real turn around will come for you when, you refuse to be used further as a tool at satan’s will. Next time that you are tempted to fight anyone, remember, he/she is not your real enemy. Your foe, satan is hiding behind the scenes.

STRUGGLE AGAINST THE FLESH
The flesh indisputably desires to be appeased and satisfied at every given second. It craves for mundane things and longs for worldly pleasure. The flesh does not indulge in anything that would cause it pain, no matter how temporary the pain might last.
Most often than not, the struggle people go through in life is against the destructive desires of the flesh. This include the desires to take hard drugs, immorality, pornography, fraudulent acts, corruption, cheating and all kinds of sinful desires etc.
Yielding to the desires of the flesh has never resulted to anything good. It disrupts a successful future. It pushes people away from proper planning. It forestall dreams and inhibits a good relationship with God.
Fleshly desires destroyed the divine destiny of Sampson. It brought about pain and regrets into the household of King David. The flesh is still causing havoc in the world till date.
Do not make the mistake of trying to overcome your flesh through the moral or physical power. Only the blood of Jesus has the power to totally deliver anyone from the incessant rule of the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, to the pulling down of strongholds. (2 Corinthians 5:10)
